There is an hour, late on a winter evening, that belongs to the bar. The lamps are low, the wood panelling glows, and somebody has just poured a cognac into a heavy crystal glass.
You smell it before you taste it: rich, round, a little fiery. Then the room joins in - cinnamon from somewhere, the dry sweetness of old oak barrels, and, as the evening softens, something that smells like dessert: toasted praline, warm vanilla.

How to wear it
Sapphire loves cold weather and late nights: winter parties, the run-up to Christmas, dinner by the fire. Two sprays is plenty - as an extrait de parfum, highly concentrated and oil-based, it has real presence. It is also one of the easiest gifts in the collection, because warm vanilla and spice are so easy to love.
